Stijn Rietveld
Stijn is from Zuid-Scharwoude, where he still lives with his parents. He’s in the final year of his bachelor’s degree in business administration at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and will soon begin a master’s in finance—most likely with a focus on corporate finance.
Before joining Viisi, Stijn had a variety of part-time jobs, from delivering newspapers and working in a supermarket to sorting flower bulbs and handling logistics in a cheese warehouse.
Most recently, he worked as a customer service representative for Cygnific, assisting KLM travelers—a role that had its challenging days, especially during bad weather and flight delays. He left that position earlier this year in search of something new.
He found Viisi through Magnet.me. Although he wasn’t familiar with the company at first, the job posting immediately caught his interest. As a bachelor student, it’s not always easy to find more substantial work experience, so the opportunity to also earn his Wft Basis certificate was a big plus. His first day was intense and full of information, but the warm welcome—complete with a card and flowers—made a lasting impression.
Outside of work and study, Stijn is an avid sports enthusiast. He plays soccer in a recreational team made up of a fun mix of serious and casual players, and he regularly works out at the gym. On weekends, he enjoys day trips and short getaways with his girlfriend and often hangs out with friends—many of whom he also plays soccer with.
With his grounded mindset, eagerness to learn, and positive energy, Stijn is a great addition to the Viisi team.
