Sophie van der Windt

Sophie was born and raised in Vlaardingen, where she currently resides and enjoys living. She and her partner are currently planning to purchase a home in the area. After completing her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at Erasmus University Rotterdam, she went on to earn a master’s degree in Strategic Management. Her experience in customer service and elder care solidified one thing for her: her true passion lies in working with people and making a genuine impact in their lives.

Sophie discovered Viisi through LinkedIn. She was immediately drawn to the company’s open organizational structure and transparent communication. With her interest in the dynamic housing market, fueled by a healthy dose of “Funda-addiction”, entering the mortgage industry felt like a logical next step. After shadowing Thomas for a day, she was convinced that Viisi was the right match for her.

Outside of work, Sophie is quite adventurous. After graduation, she lived and worked in Curaçao for three months, volunteering at a foundation for stray dogs. She leads a very active lifestyle; she has taken up running and is training for the Rotterdam Quarter Marathon. She also enjoys attending “rocycling” sessions at the gym and never misses the annual ski season, having been on the slopes since she was 12. Furthermore, she loves discovering new restaurants with her group of friends.
