Paavo Vernimmen

Paavo grew up in Bruges and, through his studies in Ghent, eventually found his way to Amsterdam. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, followed by a Master’s in Policy, Communication & Organization and a Master’s in Business Administration with a specialization in Commercial Management at the Vrije Universiteit. He currently lives in Amstelveen, where he is completing his teacher training in Business Economics while working.

He teaches business studies at Lumion in Amsterdam. Previously, he worked at Achmea, where he was responsible for resolving complex issues related to interest-rate offers and worked closely with mortgage advisors. This experience aligns well with his role at Viisi, which he came across through Indeed.

In his free time, Paavo can often be found on the padel court. He frequently travels back to Bruges to visit family and friends and highly recommends the city’s annual Christmas market and light show. He also appeared, along with his housemates, on the FOMO Show, in which the hosts spent a day experiencing life in a student house.
