Jaap Kronenberg

Jaap Kronenberg is currently a first-year Business Administration student at the University of Amsterdam. Born on the Greek island of Corfu, he lived there until the age of six, then moved to the Netherlands, where he resided in The Hague until he was eighteen. He has since settled in Amsterdam, where he is enjoying his time as a student.

Before joining Viisi, Jaap gained professional experience at Achmea. In addition to his studies and his role at Viisi, he continues to work in the hospitality industry on weekends. Jaap learned about the opportunity at Viisi through a fellow team member, Paavo, who had worked with him previously at Achmea and encouraged him to apply for a student associate position. Jaap is finding that the combination of his academic responsibilities and his work at Viisi is a great fit.

Sports have always played a significant role in Jaap’s life. During his youth, he played field hockey at a high competitive level. While he has since moved on from elite sports to focus on his university life, he remains active on the field, playing for a local team in The Hague. In his free time, he also enjoys running. Jaap describes himself as a calm person who highly values his social circle and enjoys spending quality time with his girlfriend, friends, and family.
