Sarah van Tiel

Sarah grew up in Venray and moved to Utrecht at eighteen, where she now happily shares a place with two housemates right in the heart of the city. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Utrecht and continued her studies in Tilburg with a pre-master’s in Business Economics and a master’s in Strategic Management. There, she didn’t settle for just one track but completed both: Consultancy and Entrepreneurship.

Even during her studies, Sarah gained experience in the financial world, including at Rabobank and as a senior client manager at Brand New Day. While looking for a role in consultancy and financial services, she came across Viisi and was immediately excited. The innovative culture and the way of working with Holacracy especially appealed to her; she read through the entire website and watched all the videos before applying for the consultant role.

Outside of work, Sarah loves being out and about with friends or traveling. She journeyed solo through Morocco, spent three months in Southeast Asia, and can’t wait for her next trip to Kenya. And if she finds any time to spare, she’s most likely out running, taking a fitness class, or hitting the slopes to ski in winter.
